In Season 1, FBI Agent Olivia Dunham recruits Peter to convince his estranged father Walter to help her save the life of John, her partner and lover. Olivia must deal with John's subsequent betrayal and piece together his role in the mysterious "Pattern," a series of unexplained events that have been occurring around the world.
